Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the TASI platform at https://tasi.education (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
TASI is an independent educational technology platform developed to assist teachers and school staff. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation, OpenAI, or any school district unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement. References to third-party products are for compatibility and integration only; all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
By using TASI, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live), that you have authority to bind yourself or your organization to these Terms, and that you will comply with applicable laws—including student privacy laws when you enter information about learners. The Service is not intended for use by children under 13.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Some features require a valid license key issued by your school or TASI administrator. You must provide accurate registration information and notify us of unauthorized use. We may suspend or refuse accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

You remain responsible for content you create, upload, or share—including ensuring you have rights to attach files from cloud storage and that student information is handled according to your institution's policies.
TASI uses artificial intelligence (including third-party models such as Google Gemini) to assist with lesson planning, grading support, and related tasks. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your context. You must independently verify all critical information—grades, safety procedures, legal compliance, and curriculum standards—before relying on generated content. TASI is a productivity aid, not a substitute for professional judgment.
Optional Google features are user-initiated:

Optional Microsoft sign-in, Outlook/365 calendar sync, and OneDrive attachments are available when you choose those features. Microsoft's terms and privacy policy apply to their services.
TASI, its logos, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal educational purposes during an active account. You retain ownership of content you create; you grant us a license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service (including sending prompts to AI providers as you direct).
Our collection and use of personal information—including Google and Microsoft user data—is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to that processing.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TASI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will survive termination.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
